The tasks of the embassy
As the official representation of Switzerland in Peru, the Embassy works to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries. Its main responsibilities are:
- Maintaining and strengthening political relations and bilateral dialogue.
- Promoting economic and trade relations between Switzerland and Peru.
- Fostering cooperation and exchanges in the fields of education, research, and innovation.
- Implementing economic, environmental, and humanitarian cooperation programs.
- Promoting cultural exchange between the two countries.
- Facilitating judicial cooperation between Switzerland and Peru and the restitution of illicit funds.
